So, I’ve been coding for a while, mostly using Python and JavaScript for web development. Recently, I stumbled upon a situation at work where I had to dive into some legacy code written in Java. At first, I was pretty skeptical because of all the memes about Java being “too verbose,” but after spending a couple of weeks on it, I started seeing why it’s still so widely used. The code was so well-structured and easy to maintain, even though it was written years ago! Now I’m curious—why is Java still considered one of the best languages, even with so many modern alternatives out there?
